181 | Marry another girl and live happily? | Mark 10:1 | inmyheart | 53613
You don't mention if the persons are Christians. If they are, yes they are living in sin. They should pray for forgivness for their sin and marry their mates. Through the blood of Jesus they are sinless. However we are accountable and should be responsible for our actions. God Bless |

182 | Why doesn’t God just show himself to tho | Mark 11:22 | inmyheart | 66265
God has shown Himself to the world through His Son Jesus! These are a couple of verses that Christians know that are right. 2Timothy2:15, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who "correctly" handles the word of truth. Romans 12:2, Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then "YOU" will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. jmartin, 1 Corinthians 1:18 says, and I'm paraphrasing, that if your not saved, then the Word of God is nonsense, but if your are saved it's powerful. You are not here by accident, and you are not a mistake, God has a purpose for your life. You were created for God's pleasure, for God's family, to become like Christ, to serve God and made for a mission. John 3:16 and Roman 10:9-10, will lead you God. Why not do it now. God bless |

183 | What does it mean to "love" God? | Mark 12:28 | inmyheart | 70761
Greetings, God tells us in the First Commandment we are to "...love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." ( Matthew 22:37) What specifically does this mean? I believe loving God (agapao) includes three specific things: 1) To choose continually to obey God's Word (His Will) and not our own thoughts and emotions that are usually prompting us to go the opposite direction. 2) To choose continually to trust God's Power (His Ability) to perform His Will in our lives and not our own natural ability. 3) And lastly, to love God means to choose continually to worship and serve Him only, by following, cleaving and so binding ourselves with Him that we become one. (We "exchange lives" with Him. We give Him ours; He, then, gives us His.) God bless |

184 | Can a person push God too far?? | Luke | inmyheart | 54940
justmeagain, My friend you have a purpose in your life, you are not here by accident. You have a destiny, and God wants to take you there. The things we struggle with is needless, there is absolutely no benefit for yourself living outside the will of God. The word in Proverbs 24:16 says that a just man falls seven times, and rises up again. He is falling "towards", not falling "back". Luke 22:31-32, "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned(KJV says converted) back, strengthen your brothers." We know Peter goes on to cut the soldiers ear off and denies the Lord three times (he fell). In Acts 2:41, we see Peter standing strong, leading about three thousand to the Lord. My friend, it's not about how far we can push God, it's about how close we can be with Him. It's about a total committment, all of your life. Apart from Him you can do nothing. Romans 12: 1-2, read it, pray over it. Remember, you are the extension of His Love. God bless, God really does love you! |

187 | Is it so hard to believe Jesus | Luke 6:46 | inmyheart | 81350
Is it so hard to believe Jesus? Let's see what the word of God says; "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:18. Also: Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light. God bless |

God's love, purpose and His destination for you will never change. The Word says let every man be a liar, but let God be true. The devil will put doubt in your mind, and if he can convince you that there is no way back to God, well, he's done his job, BUT DON'T BELIEVE IT! Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, and my friend, He's not finish with you. WELCOME HOME, enter into His rest. Come in agreement with His will for you, and partake of the plan He has prepared for you. There is no condemnation to those who are "IN" Christ Jesus, so don't beat yourself up, God Loves You! 196 | Explanation for John 5:31 vs John 8:14 | John | inmyheart | 59206
Hello, Here is a commentary on John 5:31; The five-fold witness to who Jesus is 1. (31) Self-testimony was not reliable in a court of law 2. (33-35) First: the witness of John the Baptist 3. (36) Second: the witness of the works of Jesus 4. (32; 37-38) Third: the witness of the Father 5. (39) Fourth: the witness of the Scriptures 6. (40-44) The reason for their unbelief a. They are not willing; they have not God's love; they are concerned with man's honor, not the honor that comes from God b. This leaves them open to tremendous deception; even to follow an Anti-Christ. And John 8:13-20; (13-20) Jesus proclaims two witnesses to verify His person a. The mere fact that these Pharisees demand evidence to the light shows that they are blind to its shining b. Jesus points out the He is qualified to witness of Himself, not they, because only He has the view of eternity c. In any case, His testimony is fully supported by the Father d. Where is Your father? may be a slap at Jesus' mysterious conception e. They can only know the Father through the Son, who has declared Him. Praying that this is the information you are looking for. God bless |

198 | what does john 14:7 talk about | John | inmyheart | 70612
firstladyminister, John 14:7-11 - Show Us The Father. The point that Jesus is making here is that He has completely and perfectly represented Father God to them. No one can look the Father in the face. Remember, Moses made a similar request of God, saying, Exod.33:18 ..."I pray Thee, show me Thy glory!" But God's response to Moses was, Exod. 33:20 ..."You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!" Philip wants to see the Father. But Jesus says, "Philip, I've perfectly represented Him to you. He's in Me, and I'm in Him. I speak what He tells Me to, I do what He tells Me to. So, although you'd die instantly if you saw the Father's face, you have already seen the Father through My words and My works." So many people want to see God. And they know they can't look up at the sky and catch a glimpse of Him. So they turn to the church and say, "Show us the Father." What does the church show them? If they show them the words and the works of God, they show them the Father. But all too many are shown gossip. Judgement. Hatred. Backbiting. Immorality. And many people have decided that Christians cannot show them the Father. And so they turn elsewhere. Paul said to the Jews that were living hypocritically, Rom. 2:22-24 You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God? For "THE NAME OF GOD IS BLASPHEMED AMONG THE GENTILES BECAUSE OF YOU,"... Let's take a look at ourselves. Every week, people come to us, hoping that we'll show them the Father. Let's be sure to show them the words of God, and the work of God, that they will not turn away from God. (Notes from a sermon at church) God bless |
