Bible Question:
Isn't this walk a walk of surrender, a walk of renewal? I mean before I believed, Jesus was just this guy and then something change in my thinking and I recognized who He was and for the first time knew who I was. I asked Him to be the Lord of my life and have been surrendering and being renewed ever since. What is being taught to the new believers (and old for that matter) that causes so much trouble? Jesus said, (Luke 6:46) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Is it so hard to believe Jesus? |
Bible Answer: Is it so hard to believe Jesus? Let's see what the word of God says; "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:18. Also: Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light. God bless |
