1241 | You asked for a reponse, I gave it. | Revelation | skccab | 190587
Dear RC, You do "your work for me?" I don't think so. And I "believe so much in" Jesus and His work on the cross. Revelation and it's contents will take care of themselves in time. I'm not going to argue any points therein. Stand in His Grace Cheri |

RC, I'm sorry, we have had some misunderstandings; and we got off on the wrong foot. I haven't answered you in those places because the questions were rhetorical - not meant to be answered. I will no longer pose rhetorical questions on the forum. I apologize to you for that. And also, there is too much division of opinions on Revelation - and opinions concerning prophecy are hard to back Scripturally. My only view on that subject is that I'm gonna be right there with the Lamb wherever He wants me to be.... Cheri |

RC The Lord gave me the best answer of them all. I'll know all things even as I am known, soon, but not now. That's good enough for me. :-) So, to start over again - Hi RC, I'm Cheri and I'm happy to know you. Blessings |

1244 | can anyone here help a seeker | Revelation | skccab | 192062
Hi Lucciola, As an older believer, please let me give you some advice - Learn about your Lord. Read the Old Testament accounts about how He delivered His people and all the wonders He did for them. Read the Gospels and learn of Him as people knew Him. Read the book of the Acts and the Letters and learn how He delivers His people today. Let the book of the Revelation rest for now. There will be time enough for it later, when you know the One Who delivered it to John. It's very difficult to delve into something hidden when you don't yet know that which is revealed. Blessings Cheri |

1245 | can anyone here help a seeker | Revelation | skccab | 192068
Azure, My sweet sister, I don't think that you could offend if you set your mind to it - the grace of our Lord is too deep within you, it comes out in your every word! Oh, that some of it would rub off on the rest of us. Cheri |

1247 | Morning (or Day) Star: Lucifer or JESUS? | Revelation | skccab | 194275
Hi Starfire, I love your screen name, wish I'd thought of something so pretty!! I use a bible that was translated by a Jewish believer and my NASB has no notes, just very LARGE print (send me an email Hank and I'll send you the ISBN, I can read this one from 2-3 feet away!! I love it!!). Anyway, starfire, I noticed no one has sent you to www.e-Sword.net yet. You can get just bookoos of Bible versions, commentaries (the best being Gill's and Henry's) and other writings to do with the Bible and the times and it's free. Shalom Cheri |

1248 | Morning (or Day) Star: Lucifer or JESUS? | Revelation | skccab | 194295
Morning Starfire, Thanks for the name suggestion, I may use it elsewhere!! The Bible is the NASB, leathertex ISBN 1-58135-105-4 1331 (I think that's the ISBN anyway) and it just says The Foundation Publication and it's Giant Print (I think that it's 14pt font). Email me (from my profile), we'll talk further :-) Shalom Cheri |

1249 | Bride and Guests at Lamb's Wedding | Revelation | skccab | 199568
Shalom JoeAnn, That's a very good question. One that I've asked many people and have yet to get an answer I can hang my hat on. :-) I still hold to the verses in Rev. 21:9-11, that tells us in no uncertain words just what the bride is: 21:9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with teh seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showdd me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descencing out of heaven from God, 21:11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. Then the verses go on to describe the city. I, too, have trouble thinking of myself as the bride of the Lamb when we are also told that we are the Body of Messiah, we are brethren to the Messiah, we are the adopted children of the King, Father of Messiah - being the bride also just doesn't fit in well. I can see relating as a bride to a bridegroom but not being the bride. But, because this really has nothing to do with our salvation, only where we're going to spend eternity in our salvation, I don't worry over it so much anymore. But it's a very good question. I'll be interested in what others have to say. still learning :-) Cheri |

Shalom y'all I apologize for the mis-spellings. When I spell checked, the system would not let me go back in to correct. When I hit the "back button" it took me 3 times to a fresh answer box, not to my answer box. Go figure. Cheri |

1251 | crowns | Revelation | skccab | 207686
Shalom Domartin, Rev. 2:10 Messiah says He will give the crown of life to overcomers. There are other passages that speak of or allude to crowns being given out, perhaps someone else will know those scriptures? There are ONLY believers in Heaven (Rev. 21:14-15). Cheri |

1252 | Hebrws 9:27 what Happens with Enoch and | Revelation | skccab | 207697
Shalom SOG, I will be interested in others' answer to this too. I personally believe that the 2 witnesses of Rev. 11:1-14 are Enoch and Elijah, just for that reason - they do eventually get killed and that would take care of the Heb. 9:27 passage. I know that most people believe the two witnesses are Elijah and Moses because of the Transfiguration, but could be that's not a correct assumption. Cheri |

1253 | rev 20:4 questions | Revelation | skccab | 210071
Shalom alanj, Welcome to the forum. Please fill in your user profile so we can all get to know you. Many people (myself included) simply take the Bible as it says. To me it appears to be saying that these folks were martyred during the 7-year tribulation. Then they are raised to enter into the 1000-year millenial reign of our Lord. Others will probably answer your question with more concise information than I can. Have fun studying your Father's word. Cheri |

1254 | what is it to be an overcomer? | Revelation | skccab | 210495
Shalom docandlinda2, I'm going to give you my understanding of the word "overcomer," which is very simple. Faithful. To those who remain faithful to His calling, His statutes and commandments. Overcomers are those who weighed the cost of serving Him, who picked up their cross and obediently followed until they died (or who will be caught up with Him at a future date). Cheri |

1255 | WHY DOSE IT HAVE TO BE MOSSES AND ELIJAH | Revelation | skccab | 212822
Shalom kelroc, Ssostokley made some very good points for you. I'd like to add my 2cents worth (just some food for thought). Since everyone pretty much agrees on Elijah, I'll make my case for Enoch as the 2nd of the two prophets in Revelation. Since Heb. 9:27 says it is appointed for men to die once Enoch will have to see death at some time. When? Gen. 5:24 says he too, was taken alive to God so, so far, he has not seen death. Like I said, just my opinion. Just something to chew on.... :o) Cheri |

1258 | Balaam and Balak | Rev 2:14 | skccab | 196837
Shalom again, y'all, I'm at a loss again and missing something. I've just finished the Balaam/Balak chapters in Numbers (22-24). I'm using the NKJV and I don't see where Balaam told Balak how to overcome Israel. Does he show up again later, did I misunderstand something he said in Chs. 23 and 24, or like a nimnull do I have him mixed up with some other prophet? (I was thinking he was the prophet who fell from God's favor because he advised the enemy to get Israel to intermarry and worship the enemy's gods? And that happens in Ch. 25 but I don't see Balaam's name anymore in the next few chapters.) Help? :-) Cheri |
