101 | Please teach me about the Trinity. | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 77878
You write too much, Just explain to me and show me that said that they are equal word by word. Christ said they are not equal and you said they are equal. you are right I cannot understand Trinity because it is not biblical, ther are other simply explain that it is like an "egg" and I dont say any verse in the Bible that God is like an egg. As apostle paul say: Ga 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. and paul did not teach that Christ and God the Father are equal you cannot find that verse that Paul will said they are equal: Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 9. Torrey Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. If we understand etimology, if there is a giver there is reciepient, if they are really equal why God the Father has to give Him that power, if they are really equal Christ need not to received that because He had that power already, oh what a logic of trinity is that? You are right I want to focus on mark 13:32 and please before we continue further discussion kindly explain to me that the Holy Spirit which is a co-equal did not know the second coming of Christ. Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Again who is the Son, it is christ you cannot change that fact. As christ said "neither the son" do you think after His ressurection He is no longer the Son. Please explain, and dont go far just that verse and if able to show me the answer that I want we can continue this discussion. God bless, |

102 | Please teach me about the Trinity. | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 78037
Ray, I am enough for this, you simply ignore the real questions. 1. The trinity taught that the "three" are equal but in Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Christ stated that only the Father knows His second coming, if the three really equal why it is only the Father knows the second coming of Christ? Is the Holy Spirit forget the information that has with His co-equal? I hope you really want to answers this question. If you cannot show the answers dont bother I you cannot, because Father is the Greater than all, and they are not equal as Christ said. And you cannot show me any verse that will stated thatChrist will said "I and the Father are Equal" God bless, |

103 | Please teach me about the Trinity. | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 78323
Dear Tim, I agree, that Christ at the time is lower than angels, as a man He has limitation. But that verses very clear stated "But the Father". The Trinity taught that the Three are equal why its only the Fathers knows about that information? How about the Holy Spirit. If they really equal the Holy Spirit should know the second coming of Christ, but Christ said "but the Father" Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. God bless, |

104 | Please teach me about the Trinity. | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 78327
Dear Tim, Trinity consider the Holy Spirit as a "Person of God, a person separate from Father. If Christ said that the "But the Father" it exclude the Holy Spirit. God bless, |

105 | Please teach me about the Trinity. | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 78430
I am after with the statement of Christ. Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. "My Father only" The trinity taught that the "three" is being equal in One Godhead. If they are really equal why Christ said "my Father only" How about the Holy Spirit? Did this other person did not know so Christ will stated "my Father only". God bless, |

106 | What happens after death? | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 94112
I believed in paul written that when the Christian died it is fall asleep it is oppose to the believed that there has already as pre judgement. If we believed that there already souls in heaven, John could be a liar in this statement. Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. After death the spirit will go back to God who is created it. Ec 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. I believed that spirit will again meet the body in the second coming of Chrrit. 1Co 15:51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. |

107 | Please explain the Trinity | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 77343
Among those three who is the most powerful are the equal in power? Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: it was written that 1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1Co 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. Kindly read this passges it is stated that Christ after all things subdued unto Christ He subject himself to God the Father, its mean God the father is powerful than He is. 1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Christ also said that the Father is greater tham He is: oh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 108 | Please explain the Trinity | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 77417
Quote "No, what it means is that the Son is obedient to the Father, which is not anti-Trinitarian at all. The doctrine of the Trinity states that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. It says nothing about the roles that the three Persons have in relationship to each other." end of quote. Joe, you said they are equal but Christ said they are not equal. Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. you are right christ is obedient to the Father, aside from that He accepted that "neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him." Christ is the one send by the Father. God bless, |

111 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 101129
They dont need to eat that because it is forbidden but because of temptation of satan and maybe because they want to be gods as satan said. Ge 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Ge 3:6 ¶ And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. That the first sin they committed disobedience. God bless, |

112 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 101206
Because of the temptation of satan and the heart of adam and eve was greedy they listen to satan instead to the creator. They can eat that why not but they probably get more attention to be gods (as satan tell them) instead of the tree of life. After disobedience the sickness and death comes in. God drove them away from eden so cannot touch the tree of life. Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: God knew that if they eat the tree of life and live forever but having sickness its very hard to man to live, for example having a cancer and live forever is very fatal. What happened in eden is almost the same of what happening in peoples life today, instead of keeping attention to Christ which is the life, Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. we keep our attention to worldly things which bring us to death. God bless, |

113 | Did Adam knew the concept of heaven? | Gen 3:19 | jlpangilinan | 22255
I post those question because in the new Testament Heaven was the Great promises. If Adam and most of people in the Old teatemant including Moses doesnt know about it, why it was promises to us now. What do you think the reason why it not mentioned to them by God. It is God himself who keep talking and giving to Moses his covenant. If I am not mistaken, that time the promises for them was the promise land which is canaan. Johnny |

Makarios, What's wrong with my KJV, it was stated there in the verses. God bless, |

115 | Who was the first perfect man | Gen 5:24 | jlpangilinan | 96188
Makarios, Let quote some verses stating that there are perfect person in the Bible. Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth Quote"What does the KJV say that Noah was perfect in? It states that he was perfect in HIS GENERATIONS. and end of quote. Your argument there is "noah is perfect in" his generations how about job? it is God considered job as a perfect and upright? do you think that is not true? I do believed that there is perfect in earth because even Christ commanded to be perfect because Our Father in heaven is perfect: Mt 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Do you think Christ will say this if no one can do so? otherwise is just saying nonsense things. God bless, |

116 | Who was the first perfect man | Gen 5:24 | jlpangilinan | 96196
Makarios, Being "perfect" of Job and others was been taught us not as being "sinless" but they are recognize by the scriptures as "perfect" and not as "sinless" I did not mentioned in my note (just a reminder) that they are "sinless" but they called perfect. We have no problem about that my friend. God bless, |

117 | Who was the first perfect man | Gen 5:24 | jlpangilinan | 96198
Hank, In our congregation it was taught that Job and other person mentioned in the Bible "perfect" means sinless, You are right that the meaning of "perfect" in the Bible means "sinless" then it is agreeable that there are really "perfect" in the Bible but not mean "sinless" if we review this tread, I never mentioned that they are "sinless" what I say that they are perfect according to the scriptures. God bless, |

118 | Who was the first perfect man | Gen 5:24 | jlpangilinan | 96200
Hank, Please ignore the my previous note to you. typo error. in our congregation it was taught that they are "perfect" but not means "sinless" but they are recognize as "perfect" you are right that "perfect" did not means "sinless" therefore it is agreeable that there are "perfect" in the Bible. 120 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | jlpangilinan | 67939
You cannot blame the members of the forum if they after to the chapter and verses of the bible if you want to answers question, we have to be reminded that this site is a study bible forum. I was been here since July of 2001, until now the answers that I accepted are those supported by scriptures. I will not waste my time for the opinions that not well supported by the word of God, I did not registered here for the pure opinions or conclusions of other, I participated here to learn and to answers If I can from the word of God and not to gather opinions. It usual even in any debate that I heared person on both sides give reference in where did they quoted thier claim, in that case both side has chance to under cross examnition the other side for thier statement and claim. So if we try to answers or to depend some points, please always support your claim with the scriptures, so that anyone can follow your claim and check if is really biblical or not. I think there is no something wrong with that. God bless, Johnny |
