1 | What does Bible teach on election? | Bible general Archive 1 | Richard1 | 67834
I must be missing something? If we are all predestined - than what is the use of witnessing? My question is that if someone is not (to my knowledge) a Christian, why should I share the gospel with them? If they are predestined and I dont, then someone else will. I know this souds silly, but what am I missing? I chose to ask Christ into my heart and save me. In return, I beleive he accepted(or chose) me.

Dear Richard1, Even though scripture most certainly teaches election and that we are predestined (Rom 8:29,30), this is not an easy question to answer. The apostle Paul gives us the answer by his own actions, in that he went on three missionary journeys. We are also admonished to share in Romans 10:14-15. I hope this helps.
