Charis, That's short for charismatic, right. Let me undo the confusion, I'm serenetime, my husband is Praisemaster, a friend of ours is Casiv. Now since that is made clear. I'm sure glad I would never attend your church, I'd be chased down the street. I've never talk to you, and you know nothing about me, so I don't understand your problem. I for one have never tried to offend anyone. I've hardly conversed on this forum. As for my husband Praisemaster. Just because you claim that no one can understand him, doesn't give anyone the right to insult him, if you're not interested in what we have to say, then don't respond. But I am an individual, and my husband is an individual, so is Casiv. It wouldn't totally be fair to make us all one person, would it But the problem is that so many respond just to argue and not to further a greater understanding of the Word, that if someone could relate to our understanding and wanted to interact with one of us, but by seeing what was happening would not even attempt it. It wouldn't be worth it to them. All I've seen is chaos and confusion, and the word is not so complex. And God is not the author of confusion, but of Love, and peace. We're being attacked by some in the same arrogant, belittling manner you spoke of. But that's ok. The door swings both ways. It is mindblowing only because we only believe what the bible teaches, but go back to the original language that it was originally written, some words translated later may not always be the closest to right meaning, but the translators do their best. So what is so wrong with that. I know that everyone would not continue in the defense mode if we felt we were being given a fair chance. Please don't respond to us if it's not going to edify and strengthen us all in our desire for deeper truth. That's all I ask. If you're not interested, then don't respond back. And that would keep the unnecessary tension down. I'm sorry if we seem to be a threat to you, only on the fact that we're a little bit harder to understand. It's interesting that everyone seems to categorise us as wacko's, cocky, arrogant. I don't think God want's us being this way to one another. But focusing on working together for a better understanding of the Bible. Not treating people in a way where they want to avoid interacting on this forum. Where is your right to tell us to leave. And how can you say "God Bless" in the same sentence as 'somewhere else". They contradict one another. I'm sure their are many faithful saints in this forum, it's not all one sided here, and I think you know it. Your tone and note are quite offensive to me, but that's ok. I come on this forum to interact with people that want to interact with me, I don't deserve to be lashed out at because I seem foreign to you. No one ever said on our end that we were better than anyone, Let's face it, there's been some competition going on here. Let's see who'll win. I'm ruting for Fred, and so on. When someone is being cornered, by several people, it's normal human nature to defend themselves. I will not speak for Casiv, or Praisemaster, but treat me as a individual. Serenetime | ||||||

Dear Serenetime, To begin with, charis is as in charis, a Greek word. You might find it in Strong's. I am not Charismatic. :-) As an individual I address you, but you must understand that you have posted under your husband's name, and he has posted under casiv's name, and it is YOUR actions that have caused the confusion. Please know that I am not kicking you off this forum. You are correct, I do not have this authority. I am, however, suggesting that you might be happier elsewhere. After all, you, your husband, and his student have all said that the members of this forum are ignorant of the Word and of the Father, and that chaos and confusion reign here. You claim understanding and knowledge, but are reticent to share it with us in simple terms, and clothe your 'explanations' in verses that none of us seem to be able to comprehend. Maybe you would be more satisfied with a forum of like-minded people? Actually, it is quite easy to use bless you and somewhere else in the same sentence. I truly hope that God will bless you, and I truly believe that the sum of your participation has been non-edifyiing. I know that you believe that everyone else is to blame for this, but that just underscores my point! You stated that you understand the Bible to be simpler than we know it, but at the same time admit that you are a bit harder to understand. Why is this? You, and your fellows keep saying that you are "focusing on working together for a better understanding of the Bible." But all I can see from your posts is a desire to teach us what you already know. This is almost an exact definition of 'arrogance!' One last point, which concerns your husband's student, casiv. (at least, I think it was him) He stated that God will save ALL people, regardless of their beliefs. I must say that this doctrine is not in accord with the Bible. Jesus Christ alone is the Light of Life! Jesus is Lord and Savior. Period. Well, one thing you are right about; I shouldn't need to respond to any of your posts. Goodbye and God bless you. In Christ Jesus, charis |
