Greetings Ed! No problem! It was not easy to track down! I didn't find it at first because I wasn't relying on Strong's. I kept reading the Greek text and I didn't have a clue what Casiv was talking about. Finally, I used my Bible program and went to the KJV, which is keyed to Strong's. There, I found a reference to two different Strong's numbers (1803 and 5516). From there, I went to the Textus Receptus! Finally, it dawned on me what had happened. Whew! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Tim Language was always my nemesis. I spent 2 years in Latin 1 and only got out after I cut a deal with the teacher to never take Latin 2. I then spent a 2 years in French and promised never to take French 3, the poor women cried with joy. We weren’t required to take Hebrew and Greek was exciting to say the least. I really think I understood it better before I took the class and I didn’t know anything then. Therefore I depend on the expertise of the NASB and NLT translators to keep be out of trouble. In this case they used different manuscripts and that made for disaster. Now I wonder if I can once again wedge this Greek text book back under the corner of my copier table to keep it from wobbling. :-) Be Blessed and be a Blessing EdB |
