Constellations?...I now finally understand where you are coming from. Astrology (constellations) has no place in Christianity. Thank you for your responses to my questions but now I think I have been asking Miss Cleo. At least that explanation satisfies why numerology is so important to you. Come away from it. Please study the plain speaking Bible and avoid looking for the secrets of the Gnostics. They do not exist and you will be a stumbling block to other Christians if you are so adamant. You do not have a special knowledge and I am happy that the Lord has shown this to me. No reply is needed. God Bless....Jensen |

Jensen, I think you fail to have a open mind about numbers. I have done extensive research on biblical numerics, and I've come to the conclusion that they are very prevalent in the Word of God. I never heard Casiv say he was reading Taro cards, or hallmark cards or using poker cards and that he was giving your future, by calling him Miss Cleo was wrong. All he's asking is that you seek it it out. Yes there are more Taro readers out there. everyday on the T.V. It's to steer even the Christians away from the Bible, Doesn't Jesus say "seek and you'll find". If you believe that the Word of God was inspired by God and you want to know all there is to know about the Word, and I know you do, then you will find that there is a significance. First of all there is in every book in the Bible what they call Introverb, and Introbrae, which means that it begins in one subject and ends in the same way. By this you can see that it wasn't written by man. It is written in such a complex way that there is no man who with his intelligent can write it in such a numeric way.Take the time in reading the scriptures, and notice this. Just reading and thinking you know what it means in these end times is not enough. You know when someone will ask, "How can you tell me that the Bible is true?". Every Christian I know says the same thing and most people don't see it. I'm very fortunate to have a Companion Bible to lead the way for me, and it is very necessary to have Strongs Concordance to trust to give you the true meaning of the Word of God . It gives you the true meaning of every word in the Old Testament ( Hebrew, Chaldee, Aramaic), and in the New Testament, the Greek. See I have a problem with anyone that tells you to read a book by someone else. Didn't Jesus say, "trust no man?" Yes, God is there by his Spirit giving you understanding, but we as one's seeking the scriptures are not to just sit back and overlook what it underlying, or obvious. I ask as a concerned friend, that you just make an honest effort to seek them out more thoroughly, and if I'm wrong, then I'll back down. But by insulting Casiv is wrong. We as fellow seekers needing to be there for one another. In the Father's Love, Serenetime | ||||||

Greetings Serenetime! I don't want to be rude, but I do want to be blunt and to the point. I have had several conversations on this forum with those who believe in some type of numerology. I have asked each of them one simple question: "Is there even one thing that numerology teaches us that the text of Scripture itself doesn't teach us?" No one has yet been able to answer that question. Therefore, my question is: What difference does numerology make? I see all these complex charts of what numbers are suppossed to mean, but they mean nothing to me. They don't tell me how to live. They don't give me promises from God. They don't do anything. Furthermore, they are not supported from Scripture. You say that we should not trust any man alone, but am I supposed to believe that 12 means governmental perfection, simply because some chart of a numerology page says it does? In my opinion, numerology is just another attempt to distract people from what the Bible actually says and make us focus on a bunch of nonsense. Can you show me any differently?
