"Jesus said that no one goes to the Father but through him. How does someone, who because of where the were born, raised, and died, and does not know Jesus get to heaven?" I sorry but that argument just doesn’t make sense. If I ask you, how do you know that Jesus ever existed, you can only tell me feelings and act that you attribute to him. Not actually seeing him. There are many “Christians that are doubting that Jesus ever really existed. If you wish there is one book called “The Myth of God Incarnate” Edited by John Hick. A very interesting book and again written by Christians. There is also a book that is a hundred years old called, “The Truth About Jesus Is He a Myth?” by Mangasar Magurditch Mangasarian who was a Christian. You can download his book at http://gutenberg.net/index.html. | ||||||

Faith and reason are not at odds with one another, neither are they the same. They are both gifts, but complementary gifts. No one can make another believe in God by argument or "proof" alone. Never happened, never will. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make him drink." On the other hand, if a thirsty horse finds water there is nothing you can do to keep him from drinking. |
