2 | What does baptism consist? | 1 John 5:6 | Makarios | 23280 | ||
Greetings resurrectioner! I realize that you are a new member here, and welcome! However, there have been several prior discussions on Baptism. I would suggest using the 'Search function' on the right and looking up the threads "method of baptism" and "significance of baptism" to help you find your answers. I believe that water baptism is the outward and public affirmation of the transformation that has happened within a person during salvation- baptism by the Holy Spirit. We are saved by grace alone, and that through faith (Eph. 2:8,9), not by water baptism. I hope this helps, my friend! Blessings to you, Nolan |
