Look, I'm not trying to be beligerent here, but can you please stay with my specific questions. You initially brought up the verse in Romans. I asked a specific ? about that verse. I wanted to get your view on where you see in Romans it is saying baptism is merely symbolic. I take Romans 6:3 literally, you don't and that's fine. Scripture ... Rom 6:3-5; 1Co 10:2, 12:13; Gal 3:27 ... To be baptized into Christ, His death, Moses and one body means identify publicly what you are being baptized into. The focus is not on the baptism. In Romans 6:3-5 we public identify with His death, burial, and resurrection - His work. |
