1 | A SIN TO FILE BANKRUPTCY | 1 Pet 4:10 | Hank | 130105
Emmaus, rarely does a week go by that my wife and I don't get at least a couple of credit card offers. Not long ago I said to her, "Why don't we accept them all, max them out, and with all that dough, retreat to a very private Shangri-la somewhere in Borneo." At least there are pleasant aspects to the sinister thought. :-) And perhaps it would teach the credit card companies a much-needed lesson to be more prudent and responsible with their lavish offers of 'easy' credit -- and stop bugging the public to death with junk phone calls and mailings. --Hank

Looks like Ed has found the way that doesn't involve the sinister thought or deed! But Hank... Borneo? I wouldn't think of that as a place with a "Shangri-la." Anyway... with the credit limits I'd probably get, though, we'd only make it as far as Pflugerville, Texas. :-) |
