1 | The Wrath of God, real or imagined | Deut 32:4 | pukalanian | 174655
Dear Brad, There once was a developer who built a project of 450 custom homes on a beautiful country hillside. They were strong solid homes made of concrete, brick and stone. He decided to make 150 of them very special using only quality materials with all the amenities one could imagine. The other 300 he decided to build without the water piping, electrical wiring and windows. Well, after all the homes had been built and after two years of activity, there were left 300 of them unsold. The developer was patient however, and waited several more years for the sales team to save them. But none of them could be sold. He was so upset he decided the only right thing to do was to destroy all the unsold homes. His anger was so intense he commisioned a perpetual rotation of 300 gas trucks to fuel huge flame throwers as he wanted to burn these defected homes until the bricks and stone melted. The developer felt that his vindication was not only logical, but loving, merciful and just. Does it make any sense that God, whose majesty is demonstrated to us in the greatness and order of the universe, would create all of humanity, only to one day destroy the majority of them in everlasting fire? Always seeking truth. Pukalanian |

2 | The Wrath of God, real or imagined | Deut 32:4 | CDBJ | 174663
Hello Pukalanian, I’ve read all of your posting so why don’t we just cut to the chase! You evidently don’t believe what the Bible says, but regardless of how we as humans got in the mess that we find ourselves in, how do you propose the situation be corrected? Since we are all on a collision course with physical death and the judgment of God, what is the recommended action needed to solve the problem or don’t you believe we even have a problem? Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: CDBJ |

3 | Exodus 4:11, God creates all of us | Deut 32:4 | pukalanian | 174705
Dear CDBJ, Thank you very much for your response. I do believe in the greatness of my creator. His majesty is awesomely displayed here on earth as well as what we can see in the heavens. I love God and I know deep down inside He would not create simply to one day torture that which He created. Think about it. The bible says that all who do not accept Jesus will be thrown into the lake of fire to burn forever. Where is there justice in being punished the rest of eternity for commiting one lifetime of sin? Where is there love or mercy in the unending torture of the creatures God created with His own hands? If you believe that human beings have a choice in what sex they will be born as, how tall they will be, what color hair they will have or even what level of learning disabilities they will end with, then read Exodus 4:11. God makes the mouth, the deaf, the mute, the seeing and the blind. He is the one and only who gives each of us our own level of intellignece and the power to choose right or wrong. God is perfect and omnipotent and it is impossible for Him to conjure up such a scheme of so-called wrath. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your answers. Pukalanian |

I beg to differ from your opinion about the lake of fire. God is great and greatly to be praised, but He is also a just God, the Almighty Judge, and a jealous God. God gives us an opprtunity to accept salvation. It is not your sin that sends you to hell, only. It is a person's disregard of the gift of salvation that sends us to hell. When Jesus taught, some people accepted and believed while others didn't. Some people changed while others mocked. But in the end, the only way is Christ. Jesus speaks himself in Revelations 21 that all who did not believe, idol worshippers, etc. are doomed to spend eternity in the lake of fire. That's not torture, that's justice. For example, if a group of people decided to rob a bank and you are a part of that group, you then made a choice. If you decided not to, then you made another choice. Now say, you are called to court for the crime. Because you decided to choose differently, you won't suffer what the others suffer. But what if everyone had to suffer for the mistakes of others? Would that be true justice? God forbid. Therefore, God chose to allow one to suffer, Jesus. Now, all who doesn't accept the mercy of God by giving up His Son, Jesus, to die for us, should suffer eternal damnation. Sounds like justice to me. It's not about who goes to hell, but are we preparing ourselves for heaven? My thought is I want every one of God's people to go to heaven.
