1 | What is a repentance from dead works? | Heb 6:1 | Morant61 | 133654
Greetings Rowdy! You asked: "How do you anticipate that God is going to distinguish between christians and other sinners on the Day?" John 3:18 tells us exactly how He will distinguish between Christians and sinners: "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | What is a repentance from dead works? | Heb 6:1 | Rowdy | 133664
Yes, I agree with this and all the other verses but getting to the rub, "where the rubber meets the road," how will this be done? In other words, in strict compliance with this verse and all the others, the devil himself is going to Heaven. How will God distinguish and keep him along with all his followers out of Heaven? Please advise and God bless. Rowdy |

3 | What is a repentance from dead works? | Heb 6:1 | Morant61 | 133696
Greetings Rowdy! My friend, this is going to be my last post on this subject with you. Steve's posted answered your question Scripturally, but you ingnored it. I have answered your questions Scripturally, but you have ignored it. James 2:19 does not say the same thing as John 3:18! James 2:19 says that demons belive that there IS ONE GOD. It does not say that the demons 'believe' (place their faith) in Jesus. I have pointed this out before, but you ignored that post as well. In fact, you didn't even respond to that point. The demons believe a fact about God. To equate James 2:19 with John 3:18 is silly. But, on the basis of this, you would have us ignore the many verses that clearly say that if 'one believes' one is saved. :-( So, there really isn't any point in continuing this discussion my friend! Hopefully, we will be able to discuss other issues in the future. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

4 | What is a repentance from dead works? | Heb 6:1 | Ray | 144267
Hi Tim, You said that to equate James 2:19 with John 3:18 is silly. I see them as good companion verses because if you believe in the name of the Son of God you realize that He and God are one. From the heart, Ray |
