From the life application bible Hebrews 6:1 says. Let us stop going over the same old ground again and again, always teaching thoses first lessons about Christ. Let us go on insted to other things and become mature in our understanding, as strong christians ought to be. Surley we don't need to speek further about the foolishness of tr;ying to be saved by being good, or about the necessety of faith in God. |

Greetings doodlum and welcome to the Forum - As you will read, it seems that it is necessary to go over the same ground, for there are several in our midst who do not understand the "means of Grace" - For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Eph 2:8-9). Therefore at times we MUST continue to address this "foolishness of trying to be saved by being good." Blessings, mommapbs |
