1 | is it ok to lie in certain cases | Col 3:9 | stjohn | 208070 | ||
Jesus asked the same question of the Pharisees, we can find it in Matt 12:12 "How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." Mark 3:4 And He *said to them, "Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to kill?" But they kept silent. And, Luke 6:9 And Jesus said to them, "I ask you, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?" In Mark 3:4, we see that the Pharisees kept silent, what do you say, Lookn? Was it, "lawful" to do good on the Sabbath? |
