1 | wandering why the forth commandment is | Col 2:16 | joeyathome | 30986 | ||
This has been an issue with me for a long time regarding the sabbath. I need to know if there is a reason that it is in the ten commandments since it is no longer necessary to be observed. |

Nowhere in Scripture is there a single word about the Sabbath being altered to a time *better suited*. This is sheer fictional nonsense. The seventh-day Sabbath has not, is not and never will be changed from Saturday to Sunday. Again, there is no Scriptural evidence whatsoever to support this theory. Other than the commandment to observe the seventh-day Sabbath, it is not at all clear from Scripture that "a day is to be set aside in order that we may have fellowship with God and other Christians." Anyone with Internet access can assert anything, but that doesn't make it true. The burden of proof is on the one who makes the assertion. |
