Greetings Jmscott2! Good morning my friend! If you do not attend a local congregation, then you are violating a command of Scripture. Consider Heb. 10:25: " Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." It through the local fellowship that the Holy Spirit brings us to maturity. This is clear in Eph. 4:11-16. I would definitely encourage you to find a local body of believers with whom you can fellowship. It is a real joy to worship with God's people and it is important to be ministered to by the gifted people God has called for that purpose. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
