1 | Further understand breaking commandments | John 3:16 | EdB | 64980
Welldigger To answer your question I think we need to look at the different situations sin occurs in. I think committing sin occurs various ways. One where we react out of passion, like when we speak unkindly to a person that pulls out in front of us as we are driving along. :-). The second probably more troubling is when we do something we know is not right but do it anyway being caught up in the moment. Like when we are talking to a friend and they bring up a mutual acquaintance to which we speak about in gossip. A third might be a radar detector sitting on the dash, the Word says obey the laws of the Land but the radar detector says your planning on speeding. These are all very minor but I think they can be representative of most all sin committed by a Christian. All three are definitely sin, one were you reacted and sinned, one where you knew better but you just got caught up, and the third where you set out to deliberately sin. All three put you into the position of needing a Savior and fortunately for those in Christ Jesus we have one. EdB |

2 | no forgiveness when knew better | John 3:16 | welldigger | 64992
You said "All three are definitely sin, one were you reacted and sinned, ONE WHERE YOU KNEW BETTER but you just got caught up, and the third where you set out to deliberately sin. All three put you into the position of needing a Savior and FORTUNATELY FOR THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS WE HAVE ONE." But what about this scripture? For if we sin wilfully AFTER that we have received the knowledge of the truth, [[OR KNOWING BETTER]] THERE REMAINETH NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS, (Hebrews 10:26) |
