2 | Who is our Savior? Titus 1:3,4 | John 15:1 | KINDNESS | 14701
Does the Book of Titus teach that God the Father and Jesus Christ are both our Savior and therefore equal with One Another? Compare vs.1:3,4; 2:10,13,14; 3:4,6 and then look at 3:5. I love the beauty of how God's word fits together. Who could ever doubt it is inspired by the living God? Enjoy! Kindness |

Kindness, Does the Book of Titus teach that God the Father and Jesus Christ are both our Savior and therefore equal with One Another? ... "We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world" (1Jo 4:14). So, I'd say the Father is not the Savior. Your verses say "God our Savior" or "Jesus Christ our Savior." This proves that Jesus Christ is God. Steve |

4 | Who is our Savior? Titus 1:3,4 | John 15:1 | KINDNESS | 14722
YES!!! Steve that is exactlly what I was hoping someone would see. In Isa.43:3,and following we have the God of the OT declairing that He is the only Savior. "I Am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior" is "I Jehovah am thy God (Heb) Elohim." So if we conect that with the "I Am's " in John's Gospel don't we see God revealing Himself in Jesus as the Jehovah of the OT to the Jew first and then to all others who will believe? I like your 1 John ref. If the Father sent the Son then He also is the Savior and equal with Son, correct? When Jesus said" before Abraham I Am " He was claming to be equal with the Father and that is why they sought to kill Him, John 8:58.... Thanks Rey for that verse in an other note. Kindness |
