1 | What is the abomination of desolation? | Matt 24:15 | ominous | 157671
no! i think it would be unwise to be confident in my salvation. as we all have things to work on in ourselves. even if we don't offend outwardly (in actions), we still offend inwardly (in thoughts). we must continually strive for improvement, but i am confident, in the hope, that i might be saved! it's the Lord's way of keeping us humble. the more we read (and contemplate), the more we realize that we need work! i hope i am understanding your question.
2 | What is the abomination of desolation? | Matt 24:15 | lionheart | 157689
Why should we not be confident in our salvation? Either Jesus got the job done or he didnt. Our salvation isn't dependent on wheather I sin or not during the day. Thats why we do 1John 1:9 on a daily basis. We should strive for growth in our walk with God every day. Jesus is either Lord or not. Only you and God know that for sure. Know this for sure though,God is no slacker. What God did for you was a one time deal,he doesn't have to repeat the process. In Christ, lionheart |
