Personal profile for user screen name: ominous i was raised under a certain denomination, but i always questioned some of the teachings of the church. i didn't really get serious until the age of 22, when at that time i realized that no one could truely answer my questions to the point of my satisfaction. so i started to study, i checked out the teachings of many denominations, and found them all lacking in one point or another when compared to the bible. so i went in search of the truth on my own with only the Lord to lead me, and he set me free, he removed the chains placed on my mind by conventional teachings and showed me the truth plain and simple. so if my statements, or understanding seem somewhat strange or indifferent, it is because i have not been taught by conventional means, that is, by man's doctrine. John 8:36,"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." and John 3:8, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and wither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the spirit."(The above information has been submitted by the author for use solely by the StudyBibleForum.com) |
