1 | What is the abomination of desolation? | Matt 24:15 | ominous | 157600
thanks for the response kalos, aside from the opinions of interpreters, isnt it plausible that the antichrist is not necessarily one man but a nation or power structure? or even a system? as when stated in revelations 1316-17 that those who would not recieve the mark... now to have a "mark" in your forehead or right hand could this not symbolize concurrence with, or support of a system, or philsophy? as in your forehead could mean, to "believe" and right hand, to "uphold"? i know there are many folds to the scriptures, as things tend to cycle back around as said in ecclesiastes 1:9 "the thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." also note that it says in revelations 13:18, " let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man," does not necessarily mean an individual man, as the number six also signifies the day in which man was made. no contention, just curiousity; as i have always been one to seek, and not follow. oominous.
