1 | Theo-Minor, Can you show me one case ? | Matt 18:6 | Searcher56 | 126481
Theo-Minor, you still FAILED to answer my question. Show me one case a couple was NOT married (called husband and wife) BEFORE they had sex.
2 | Theo-Minor, Can you show me one case ? | Matt 18:6 | Theo-Minor | 126482
How about the example of David, with his wives AND his concubines? I guess this wasn't okay, seeing that David was a man after God's own heart. How about Adam and Eve? Where was the preacher? Who performed the ceremony? There are others. Should people choose to calm down and start acting like Christians instead of a mob, perhaps I will entertain greater examples. Theo-Minor |

How about the example of David, with his wives AND his concubines? I guess this wasn't okay, seeing that David was a man after God's own heart. ... God didn't say it so okay. God did send Nathan to rebuke him for having sex with Bathsheba (2 Sam 11-12). ... I think God announced Adam and Eve as husband and wife. We will rebuke you, as long as you pronounce error. Admit you are wrong. |

You wrote: [How about the example of David, with his wives AND his concubines? I guess this wasn't okay, seeing that David was a man after God's own heart. ... God didn't say it so okay. Admit you are wrong.] You are right on one score, and have not refuted me. "God did not say it, so okay," in regard to concubines. In fact, he gave them to David. Many of them were the wives of Saul. Bath-Sheba he rebuked David for because she was another man's wife. This is adultery, not sex outside of marriage, and this does not address the issue of whether or not sex makes two people one flesh in covenant. "I think God announced" is an opinion (I think being the key words here), not a scriptural fact. So again, you've proven nothing. I will admit I'm wrong, and gladly, when you prove it. Theo-Minor |

5 | Prove having sex makes one married | Matt 18:6 | Searcher56 | 126492
I will not waste my breath on you again. If fact, Eve was called Adam's wife (Gen 3:20) and God wrote Scripture, so He announced it. And it before they had sex (Gen 4:1). Genesis 4:17 says Cain had relations with his wife, not had relations so became his wife. I believe Isaac was married to Rebekah before they had sex. She went to his mother's tent before they were married (Gen 24:66). Until you can show me having sex makes one married, I will declare you are wrong. |

There are instances of both your example and mine. That doesn't make you right, and it doesn't make me wrong. Until you can show me having sex does NOT make one married, you have no authority to declare anything about me. Get bent. Go criticize, ostracize, judge, and insult someone else. Later, Theo-Minor |
