1 | "Least in the kingdom of God"? | Matt 11:11 | ralph2 | 123226
While I admit, some translations have attempted to "poison" the stream with spurious words and verses (for example, see KJV 1 John 5:7), God has protected his word and made it simple so that one does not need to be a theologian to understand it. Even the few contraverted verses (i.e. John 1:1) can be reconciled in context (i.e. 1:18, if no one has seen God and we've seen Jesus, he cannot be God, duh).

Hello ralph2, The poison I was speaking of was the foolish controversy you tried to start with: "I ask a simple three-part question: If Adam did not sin, how long would he have lived? What would the earth look like if sin had not entered the world? What does this tell you about God's original purpose for the earth? Nothing could be more fundamental, uncomplicated or beautiful to ponder for intelligent humans." Steve |
