Scripture ... Jer 3:8; Mal 2:16; Eph 5:22-33; 1 Cor 7:12-16 ... pricefhome ... Greetings. God did divorce Israel (Jer 3:8); but, that doesn't justify us getting a divorce. He still hates it (Mal 2:16) as you pointed out. Until your wife has phyiscally left the family and SHE has filed for divorced, she has not left and you are bound (1 Cor 7:12-16). You still must love your wife unconditionally (Eph 5:22-33), which is hard for you to do. Her actions or nonactions should not change yor love for her. Doing this may win her for Chirst. Searcher |
