4 | Which day is number seven? | Ex 20:10 | lionheart | 164891
Ocelot, You wont find when the change took place in the bible, but with a little study of history that with the Romans being the dominant world power at that time and with the size of the Roman empire it made things simpler for them to make things as uniform as possible. That doesnt mean the Jews and religious athorities stopped using the hebrew calender. It still may in some circles today still be in use.But the calender you and I use today is based on the Roman calender,my best guess as to when that change actually took place or began to take place was probably some time after 70 A.D. Find yourself a good Bible dictionary, that will give you a good starting point if you care to research this subject further. In Christ, lionheart |

5 | Which day is number seven? | Ex 20:10 | Ocelot | 164907
The change that I was asking about was the change from Saturday to Sunday. In the old testament, the week had 7 days in it. It still does. So the change that I'm talking about is not a calendar change but a day change. Anyway, any thoughts? |
