AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath [a day of rest dedicated] to the LORD your God; on that day you shall not do any work, you or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock or the temporary resident (foreigner) who stays within your [city] gates. |

Bible Note: I understand your thinking, but you give yourself away with this comment, "When in Rome do as the Romans do??" What did Paul say to the Christians at Rome: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Rom. 12:2, NASB) Now, if we are transformed, then perhaps it DOES matter what day we keep. Be a Pentecostal if you like, but be true to God's word! |
