1 | Which day is number seven? | Ex 20:10 | littleboy_rusty | 2639 | ||
I grew up going to church on Sat Sabbath. I don't agree with all they teach, the Bible teaches more than what they teach. I am a penticostal now and have been for years. I am saved, santified and filled with the Holy Ghost. I feel like Sat. is the Sabbath God intended, however, if Churches attend on Sunday. To go to a church that teaches the Bible form cover to cover, I don't see how I can go on Sat. Sabbath. God has taught me tremendous amounts through the Holy Ghost.I just tust God that He knows, I can't change the day Churches attend, what else can I do? When in Rome do as the Romans do?? I am not saying follow a sinful path. Please understand that. God bless |

I'm with you on this. I don't think people should argue about the sabbath. According to scripture Jesus is more interested in compassion. Matt 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, "Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath." Matt 12:3 But He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions, Matt 12:4 how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? Matt 12:5 "Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent? Matt 12:6 "But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. Matt 12:7 "But if you had known what this means, 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,' you would not have condemned the innocent. Matt 12:8 "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." |
