I don't disagree with the verses you give. God does not tempt. We are the clay in His hands. But how can you disagree with this? "If Cain does bad doesn't that give God a chance to show his power?" Paul said Pharaoh was "a vessel of wrath prepared for destruction." ----Rom 9:22 blessings |

This Romans 9:22 refers back to 9:17, For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE I RAISED YOU UP, TO DEMONSTRATE MY POWER IN YOU, AND THAT MY NAME MIGHT BE PROCLAIMED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE EARTH." Sorry I didn't put that. God raises some men up just to destroy them. He is Sovereign. Chances are they would have been lost anyway. |
