1 | Bible and evolution both? | Gen 1:1 | oscar | 30841
Theory of evolution is a beautiful theory, one of the most wonderful tells in the History of science. The problem is that some scientist want to change this theory into a scientific fact. The Bible does not support any of the claims of this theory, but we know that in order to be true it is require a great number of miracles, much more that were need for the Creation. What is important to notice is that even Darwin had doubts about his theory, and he said that there was no way that the human eye could evolve from any thing. The mutations that are positive are not found anymore, except for adaptation. I had many doubts about evolution, but I gave the evolutionist some credit until the cell, and this is many billions of years and many miracles just to get there. But anyway, the cell was there and it was reproducing itself with no problem, then against all the odds, entropy, it dream of the sex. It did not only plan to stop dividing itself with no help, but decided to separate itself in two parts, perfectly differenciated, but not once for all, for each time it fail it had to begin again. Finally this cell invented the sex, but it did not work, because there was no incentive and it had to dream on a way to create an incentive or "satisfaction", it only gave up on his older way of reproducing once he completed the transformation. Don't you think this is more beautiful than the "the sleeping beauty"? If we see the intermediate steps and missing links to get to Adam, you will see the multitude of miracles that are required, and we do not have record of them, not even the fossil record. I do not think evolution could be against Creation, it is something different that cannot go beyond of a beautiful and productive tell, more beautiful than all those tells that Disney put on the big screen, and more productive, because there are many grants that points to probe evolution. Evolution is good business and it free us from accountability, therefore there are many business that has to push on that direction. I do not think we Christians should abstain from reading it, but we should stick to the word of God. Do you beleive in Donald Duck? Yes, in some extent. Oscar |

Oscar, might it be noted that Donald Duck and the schools that teach evolution have at least one thing in common? Both have quacks! Groan if you must -- it was the best I could do on a Thursday. :-) --Hank
