1 | Alleged changes in the NKJV | Ps 4:1 | Bruce7 | 124195
You will find repeatedly that the majority of Scholars and many Ministries endorse the, "Authorized King James", because of it having the least amount of changes in it. You will find throughout the, "Holy Bible", references to the Word of God, not adding, deleting or changing the Word. Peace Bruce
2 | Alleged changes in the NKJV | Ps 4:1 | Morant61 | 124202
Greetings Bruce! I have done extensive reading in the area of translation, since I have been studying Greek for a number of years now. I can honestly say that the majority of scholars do not endorse the KJV. They recognize it as a 'good' translation for that time, but there are so many more manuscripts available now that were not available then. So, the newer translations are much more accurate than the KJV. Now, one will not be 'taught' error by reading the KJV. The differences are minor. However, the newer translations are more accurate and faithful to the original text. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
