1 | Heaven is our home. | Mark | CDBJ | 62037
EdB greetings, you mentioned in your post, Rev. 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. It would appear that you were disputing Aspilos and saying that Rev. 21:21 is a reference to heaven. I think if one were to search it out that there are actually 3 different heavens mentioned in the Bible. The way I see it Rev. 21:2 say that it is a city, coming down from God, out of heaven. Rev. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I believe that this is the city that Abraham was looking looking for but never found. Hebrews 11:9-10 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. What do you think? CDBJ |

CDBJ Your absolutely right it is the city News Jerusalem that is being spoke of here. That is in fact our final residence per se, not the place now called heaven. However I think any place our Lord and Savior resides is Heaven so I think they are one in the same. In other words wherever our risen Savior is, is in fact Heaven. EdB |

You won’t get any negative response out of me on that one, I agree with you 100 percent. I like the following verse. 1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. |

4 | Heaven is our home. | Mark | Aspilos | 62116
May I add to that last verse? 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Bendiciones! Aspilos |

5 | Heaven is our home. | Mark | CDBJ | 62132
And may I add to that verse also? Paul was speaking in 2 Cor. 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. This same Paul having seen some pretty impressive things came out with another verse of interest. Philip. 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: CDBJ |
