1 | Heaven is our home. | Mark | CDBJ | 62084
How far away do you think that a person could be recognized with the naked eye? Believe me this isn’t loaded question I just want to point out something that I noticed in the Bible that is strange, at least it seemed that way to me.

Okay CDBJ, you're killing me with curiousity. You asked me about, "a person" but I'm not sure I'm following your question. I don't know if this is where you're going or not, but this is a verse that comes to mind. Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, Bendiciones! Aspilos |

My question was, how far away do you think that a person could be recognized with the naked eye? The answer is probable in the neighborhood of say from 75 to 100 yards. With this in mind look at the following verse and tell me what one might be able to conclude about the location of God’s abode, i.e. heaven. This verse is talking about the first martyr of the New Testament, Stephen. Acts 7:55-56 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, [56] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Stephen’s statement was heavens, plural? The 1st. and the 2nd. heaven right up to the third. Psalm 110:1 had not quite started yet with reference to Christ sitting down as he is standing. Psalm 110:1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Actually the realm of God’s abode, or the third heaven might be all around us but we do not have the ability to see it. I am not truing to prove anything, I am just pointing of what it says. CDBJ |

CDBJ That's an interesting point. As for Christ sitting on the throne, won't that take place when all things are finished? Bendiciones! Aspilos |

5 | Heaven is our home. | Mark | CDBJ | 62137
He will sit (until) his time to rise up and return. The verse that is in Acts shows that he wasn’t seated yet; but that was not my point. Psalm 110:1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. My point was the closeness of the third heaven to the point that Stephen could view it from here on Earth once he was permitted to see it, it wasn't that far away. CDBJ |

CDBJ I did understand what you where talking about. I guess I was just changing the subject. I don't believe the Lord is ever far from us, and of course this is all speculation, but do you believe that if it is possible for the Spirit to open someones eyes to see what they normally could not (as He did with Stephen), He could also give them the abliliy to see much further than normal? Just a thought. Bendiciones! Aspilos |

Well yes I would say that that might be the situation; John had an experience that was similar. Rev. 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. |
