Searcher56, Amen. While Scripture doesn't say, "Your actions speak louder than your words", it’s true, very true. I know someone who was witnessing about the Lord's goodness, mercy and love to a friend as they walked a dark street in a huge city. He stopped at a newspaper vending machine to purchase the daily paper. After inserting the money and lifting the lid to retrieve a paper, the other guy said, "Grab me one while you’re at it." The person didn't want to "offend" the guy, less he couldn't witness to him anymore, so he grabbed an extra paper and handed it to him. He continued to tell the man about the Lord as they walked, each with a paper under their arm. At the next corner, the man tossed his unread paper into a trash bin. That's when I knew the truth of “that sermon” is the one that got to him. I was never able to talk to him about the Lord again. Decades later, I still remember and wonder what might have been, rather than what was. That one time was the last, but I never had a second opportunity. One measly dime, and …. Taleb |

Dear Taleb, I agree that is of the utmost importance that we strive to imitate Christ in all that we do. Nevertheless, not a one of us fails to come within a million miles of that standard of perfection!In truth, we are a closer reflection of Adolph Hitler than Jesus Christ. The salvation of any particular person I can neither take credit for winning or blame for not winning. The person you spoke of set you up.
