1 | Do you acknowledge -Jesus is God's Son? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108128
I'm sorry, did you just call me a false prophet? Careful, when the Pharisees said that Jesus drove out demons "only by Beelzebub", he warned that "anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven". You do not know me, so perhaps you spoke in ignorance. I forgive you. Contrary to what you may think, I am a believer and a disciple in Christ Jesus who is sick and tired of hearing that perfection is not possibly in this life. Go ahead and use 1John 4 to test me! I acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh! I acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God! Do you acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh? Do you acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God? |

2 | Do you acknowledge -Jesus is God's Son? | Heb 10:14 | srbaegon | 108143
Hello Gal5:16, I can vouch for Searcher's veracity. Your response to 1 John 4 is incomplete, so I would ask a follow-up question: Do you believe Jesus is God come in the flesh? Your question asking how Jesus could have lived a sinless life leads me to believe that you really don't think so. Because if you did believe it, you would know that Jesus, being very God, could never have sinned. Hebrews 4:15 (ESV) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Steve |

3 | Even Satan believes - why don't you? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108187
You are in error, and every man must attest to his own veracity. I believe that Jesus is God's Word that became flesh - that is discussed in John 1. 1 John 4:2,15, however, are very clear. Read it again: "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: "Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God..." and "If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. I do believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, but I absolutely believe that he was capable of sinning as you yourself pointed out by quoting Hebrews 4:15. What was the use of tempting him if it was futile? Even Satan knew that had potential to sin, why don't you believe it? |

4 | Even Satan believes - why don't you? | Heb 10:14 | Searcher56 | 108210
You FAILED to read what was written ... the question was do you believe Jesus potential to sin.
5 | Even Satan believes - why don't you? | Heb 10:14 | Gal5:16 | 108222
Yes I believe that Jesus was capable of sinning, but did not because he had the Spirit of God without limit, and he submitted to it. Arguing about this any further is pointless. I will close with this, and you are free to have the last word: "Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you" |
