1 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 119229 | ||
Quote "A handful of passages translated to support the trinity, even when it may be a legimate grammatical alternative to do so, cannot overcome the overwhelming evidence supporting Jesus being the firstborn of creation, a separate and obviously inferior creature to the Creator who had no beginning." end of quote. I really believed the superiority of the Father but this is not mean that Jesus was a creation. If you refer to Him as first born of all creation, you must understand that really He is the FirstBorn of every creature because He created them. Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: If you read this succeeding verse you will understand that Christ is not a creation but a creator. Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: "By Him all things are created" that are in heaven, and that in earth, visible, has trone or none. Did He create Himself? NO! Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. All things are made by Him, Did he create Himself? NO! He was in the bosom of the Father. Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. God bless, |
