1 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 37883
NO! I believed that there is only one God the father one God the the Son (which is Jesus) and Holy Spirit. If Im going to count them in my counting there are three but God has a different mathematics compare to mine: Joh 17:11 ΒΆ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. Many can become one in Him, so if I am going to count them there are three, but as I mentioned, God has different mathematics. God bless, Johnny |

2 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | dreamer | 37944
Yes! they are one, they are the trinity. It is difficult if not impossible for the human mind to conceptualize the trinity. There are not three separate individuals. Our minds think very linear and logical, things happen in sequences. However, there is only one God . My pastor told me to think of the trinity in this very crude manner: the trinity is like water. Water is a gas, liquid, and solid but all forms are still water. Just like the trinity is still one. It doesn't clear the confussion created by the concept of the trinity but it is impossible for us to fully understand everything.
