1 | Is the Bible itself evil? | 2 Tim 3:16 | Morant61 | 134993 | ||
Greetings Nevermind! You yourself mentioned in your post that you are not very well informed on the subject of religion or the Bible. May I make a suggestion? Read the Gospel of John through in it's entirety. Then, come back, and let's discuss it. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Here is a link that shows evidence of "Adam". There is further evidence of an "Eve if you wish to look for it. This evidence comes from science. http://www.s-t.com/daily/11-95/11-23-95/oldman.htm As for the flood story, you may find it interesting that almost every culture has one. This from a site that is not creationist friendly. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/flood-myths.html From what you wrote I take it you are a deist-one who believes there is a God but deny He takes a personal interest in individuals.I am a theist-one who believes in a peersonal God. If you want a more complete understanding of the Bible I suggest you take a study fo the Bible called "surveys". A "Survey of the Old Testament" and a "Survey of the New Testament" will give you an overview of the books of the Bible and explain how they are all inter-related. Other than that pray to God to open your eyes to His truth. Peace be with you |
