2 | Are Christmas and Easter pagan? | Gal 4:10 | Morant61 | 56060 | ||
Greetings Redboy! This is a topic which is raised quite frequently about many holidays. My short response would simply be this: It doesn't really matter what the motives were of the people who originally started a certain holiday (like Christmas). What really matters is my motives for celebrating it. Am I worshipping a pagan god? No! I don't even know what pagan god was worshipped on Dec. 25! I am simply celebrating the birth of my Savior. So, I don't get to caught up in the all the religious conspiracy theories! I just make sure that I am worshipping Christ! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
