1 | Why not Baptize as Jesus said to? | Acts 19:5 | punkiedo | 108456
Jesus was baptized to "fulfill" Greek pleroo, play-ro'-o; from to make replete, i.e. (lit.) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (fig.) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.:--accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.all righteousness. He was our example. We have to REPENT BE BAPTIZED then FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. So..On that note. IF you read my response to Taleb, hopefully that will help as, I feel as though I have rested my case. John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. If you chose to remain in darkness, that is your choice as I don't feel like I am getting anywhere with you or Taleb. So I am moving on to people who actually want help not those who are looking for a fight. I have defended my faith and feel confident that God is going to do miraculous things through this. So, Good luck on your search Steve, I pray God opens your eyes and mind so he can teach you. Case RESTED |

Hi, Natasha/punkiedo; I'm sorry you think I'm looking for a fight. If your doctrine were based on truth, it could account for the physical reality of one of the most important events in Jesus' life. I must assume that it can't and that it is in error. I will mirror your comment "I pray God opens your eyes and mind so he can teach you." Peace and grace, Steve aka Indiana Jones |

3 | Why not Baptize as Jesus said to? | Acts 19:5 | punkiedo | 108553
You know Steve there comes a time when you are casting your pearls before swine. And I am not by any means calling you this but, it is the way that I feel. I have talked to my pastor (my dad) and he agrees. So, you believe whatever you want to believe Steve. But I have provided enough scripture to show you otherwise and like I said before, if you choose to remain in darkness that is your choice as you and taleb both seem to feel the same way. As for me, I choose to be in the light. The light of truth. You can argue all day and you can scream that it is not right, but when it comes down to it, the word of God stands. And your doctrine is not bible based as I have proven over and over again. So on that note please drop the issue and let's agree to disagree ok?
