FTK, Feelings are no guarantee for truth. We can be railroaded by our feelings when our focus isn't on God and His Word. Does all truth from God always produce those kind of feelings and only those feelings. This applies to all, believer and unbeliever alike. Could you support your conclusion with scripture. In Him, lionheart |

lionheart:Feelings are always a response to a stimuli. Something you see, hear, read,or think will cause feelings. You can even make up a situation in your mind that doesn't exist and your body will respond with feelings commensurate with the thoughts. The Bible can be read to find tribulation, pain and suffering (for the non believing) or peace and joy in Christ. The New Testament is the great and terrible day of the Lord. Its great for those made perfect in Christ, and is is terrible for the lost sinners. If you search for the love of God you will find it. If you follow doctrines of pain and suffering that is what you will find. After all we are reading the Gospel of God, the good news of God. Peace, FTK | ||||||

Dear FTK, You say: The Bible can be read to find tribulation, pain and suffering (for the non believing).... Do you mean that tribulation, affliction, pain, suffering are for non believing only while a believer will never expereince them? Are you saying there is no teaching of pain and suffering in the Bible for believers? Did you read the book of Job? What about Roman 8:16-25? Rom 9:1-3? 1 Cor 4:11-13? 2 Cor 7:8-11? Shalom Azure |
