Subject: if you are saved are you always saved? |
Bible Note: Hi scoop, 1. Could you answer where in scripture do we find someone being saved again? 2. What verse tells us, "you can lose your salvation if you do not cultivate it?" 3. If "There is no such thing as once saved always saved", is the opposite true? The garden analogy doesn't work because the land was given to us, it didn't get taken back! Unless I'm mistaken, the "upkeep" of the land is unrelated to possession or ownership of it. We're agreed that salvation is of the Lord, i.e. There is nothing you can do to become saved except accept Jesus as your personal savior. So, it would appear to me that if we can do nothing to save ourselves, then logically, what can WE do to loose it? Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
