Subject: GOD TURNED HIS BACK ON JESUS WHEN JESUS |
Bible Note: Ray, The verse that Jesus "became sin" 2 Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (KJV) 2 Cor. 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (NASB) But Gracefull is taking that verse WAY out of context. If Jesus actually "became sin" then He would have not been Holy, there for His claiom for being the I AM. For he is a never changing God. We do know that The sins were cast ON Jesus but the sin had no hold on Him thus the grave couldn't hold Him. Also as I look at that verse in the NASB the words to be are italized. (sp?). Even if it is to be sin you cannot take that literal because if sin is dead that would mean Jesus wasn't ressurected. Remember that the whole Hell theroy is based on a vision and a very few verses with out any verse backing up any of it. |
