Bible Question: WHERE CAN I FIND IN THE SRIPTURES, THE VERSE THAT SAYS THAT GOD THE FATHER TURNED HIS BACK ON JESUS, WHEN HE WAS ON THE CROSS, BECAUSE HE COULD NOT LOOK UPON SIN. |
Bible Answer: Mathew 27:46 and Mark 15:34 says that after Jesus cried out he asked the father why has He forsaken him . In other words why has He left him. The word of God lets us know that the wages of sin is death. Also Psalm 22:1 states that same Question that Jesus stated, and we know that God has know part of sin and if Jesus who knew no sin had the sins of the world on him than when the Father saw Jesus He saw nothing but sins of the world on him the Father turned awat from him . And this is the reason Jesus died for that he with the offoring of his blood could wash away our sins and redeem us back to the father. The song says what can wash away our sins; nothing but the blood of Jesus, what can make us whole again; nothing but the blood of Jesus. So I thank God for his gift his only begotten son and for Jesus who gave his life that I might have the right to the tree of life. |
