Subject: IM PREACHING ON SUNDAY.................. |
Bible Note: Hi EdB, That would be his loss and your gain! Philip. 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. The nice part is that we are in the Lords hands and if He didn’t want it to happen the guy couldn’t lay a hand on you!! Here is a promise that believers in combat areas need to claim. Psalm 91:1-7 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. It’s like I have told many, I don't mind death, it's dying that I'm not looking forward to! The Lord will provide dying grace to all of His at the proper time. There have been times when I have been put to sleep, just before an operation, and I was thinking how great it would be just to wake up face to face with the Lord. It sure didn't make my wife feel so good though when I told her what I was thinking. I guess that would be kind of selfish but the Lord has it all planed out anyway. Eccles. 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; Job 5:26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Have a great day, CDBJ |
