Subject: who benefits most from prayer? |
Bible Note: Hi EdB I agree that that guy was able to be a blessing in the situation, Praise God, however, it was not God's best for him to be without a car. I mean then one can say that God allowed someone to be sick so that they could go into hospital so that they could minister to the person in the bed next to them. How much more of a testimony would one be if they were walking according to 1 Peter 2:24 and going to the hospital walking in divine health and taking the gospel to those who are sick and telling them that they don't have to be sick because Jesus died for our sicknesses. How much more of a testimony would you be to others if you could tell them about your blessings and they can see the abundance in your life and see that you are favoured by God? I mean some people could say "well if that is the lack that God keeps them in I certainly don't want it thank you very much." Our God is the GREAT I AM, and He is the God who is MORE than enough, He is the God who supplies ALL our needs according to His riches in glory, He is the God that loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us. He has made provision for us in every area of our lives, we just need to accept it and take it and then go forward and be a great testimony and the greatest witness that we can possibly be as that was the great commandment - to bring to lost into the Kingdom of God. We need to be living the way Adam was before he sinned, and Adam lacked for nothing at that stage. So I continually pray the solution and thank God for the provisions that He has made for us in His Word!! Have a great day! Brenda |
