Subject: The Problem with WoF in a nutshell |
Bible Note: Hello, Vehoka -- Perhaps you would like to get better acquainted with the Word-Faith Movement. I invite you to go to www.biblebb.com/files/WRDFAITH.HTM .... I am a Baptist too, [SBC], but knowing as I do with what heretical and blasphemous teachings the leaders of this movement are leading thousands astray, I have no hesitancy whatever to expose this movement for what it is. The Bible condemns false teaching in no uncertain terms. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I cannot stand at ease while His gospel is being distorted, perverted, and re-written by craven wolves dressed in sheep's clothing. I have said on this forum many times, and I will say it again: Many of the problems that our churches and our nation are facing today could have been averted, or at least ameliorated, if professing Christians had stood up like good Christian soldiers should stand, instead of saying, "Oh, it's all right what they do. Jesus loves them just the same. It isn't my burden to interfere with their lives." .... Well, they've interfered with our lives because we Christians have been too mealy-mouthed and namby-pamby to offer any resistance. Our children can't pray in public schools. We stand by helplessly while millions of babies are murdered before they see the light of day. Sodomy is now legal in the United States. Homosexual marriage is the next target. Word-Faith preachers are teaching people that the Cross counts for nothing and that puny man can blackmail God into providing him health and wealth. If we lull ourselves into lethargy by believing that Jesus was a fuzzy-wuzzy Casper milquetoast and so should we be, it's time to read Matthew 23 again. .... Radioman, along with other users of this forum including myself, put out messages exposing the false teachers of the Word-Faith Movement for but one reason: It is our hope and fervent prayer that God will use us to warn innocent people of the terrible dangers they incur upon themselves when they fall prey to such blatantly false teaching as these people engage in. --Hank |
