Bible Answer: Hi Kang, The Bible says that today is the day of your salvation. Hebrews 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. What the Bible speaks of as believe and what we assume the word believe means is far different. You could believe that a certain medicine could cure you of a dreaded disease but just believing in the medicine won’t cure you have to use it. You must believe, that is trust in and rely on, what God did for you in the person of His Son Jesus the Christ in order to have eternal life with God in heaven. John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: [31] But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. God actually became a man, in the flesh, and paid the price of death for your sins. God is willing to give you everlasting life with Him in heaven if you will rely on what God did for you in Jesus. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 2 Cor. 5:19 NIV (A) that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. Turn away from what you have believed in the past and turn to Jesus for help! John 6:35-40 Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. [36] But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. [37] All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. [38] For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. [39] And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. [40] For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Kang, you might not live another day, tell God the Father, right now, in your own words, that you are going to trust in what Jesus did for you on the cross and then thank God for what he did. God promises that He will give you everlasting life as soon as you put your total faith in Jesus and at that moment He will seal you as one of His own! The Bible says, speaking of Jesus, Ephes. 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, This will be the best decision you have ever made don’t put it off! Have a great day, CDBJ |
