Subject: Questioner, Are you a Muslim? |
Bible Note: Dear Nolan, Christianity holds many unanswered questions for me. It never fell into place. If one question was answered, another would be brought up in the answer. The Bible had many different versions and depending on which one you read the message would change. I know that much of the Bible is still as it was but I can't tell the difference except by looking at the Torah and the Quran. The Quran was written in Arabic, there are many transliterations of the Quran but in order to understand G-D's word as he ordered it one must read the book in Arabic. This is why all Muslims are required to read Arabic and pray in Arabic. As you know, words and meanings change in translation so we are discouraged from reading someone else's interpretation of G-D's word. As you know The Bible was also written in another language and translated into every language in the world. It therefore became the word of whomever was interpreting it. Inferences were subject to whoever read what was translated and so on and so forth. Muslims are required to read The Word as it was written so that there is no mistaking it. Every religion has it's positive points and I don't totally disagree with Christianity; However, I am more in agreement with the teachings in Islam. You see, we are taught to Love and Honor all of the Teachers sent to show us the way. Adam,Noah,Abraham,Lot,David,Jesus,Moses, and many more Peace Be Upon Them all. They all had lessons to teach us and all performed miracles through the strength of our Lord. I come to this forum because it is the study of The Bible and I want to understand it as I am learning to understand The Quran and hope to one day understand The Torah as well. I want to know all of GOD's Laws so that I can live and abide by them. If I can make anything clearer to you don't hesitate to ask. I am not an expert only a student on a journey of learning.
